INFINITIVES
I USE AN INFINITIVE WHEN I USE ONE CONDITION OR ONE ACTION AND BEGGIN TO THIS I PUT THE WORD "TO".
FOR EXAMPLE:
I SAY THAT I WANT TO COME AT THAT PARTY TONIGHT.
I HOPE TO SEE YOU IN THE PARK.
I WAS TO BUSY THE LAST WEEK.
I WILL TO STUDY MUSIC SOMEDAY.

I want tell you that I consider that your intention is very good for study grammar. However, Can be more important that you practice making many compositions because if you practice writing, you can get very good results in your writing a exams.
